Born and raised in Onsted, Michigan, I first experienced chiropractic in high school as an athlete. At first, I wanted to take care of the aches and pains that came from playing sports, but soon I realized the benefits that chiropractic offered and started taking my overall health more seriously. After high school I went to Albion College and played both football and basketball (Go Brits!). After graduating from Albion and seeing what chiropractic care did for my overall health and sports career I decided to enroll in Life University’s Doctor of Chiropractic program in Marietta, Georgia so that I could help others achieve true health. I graduated in 2019, and with Dr. Kirsi, started Journey Chiropractic to help people and their families live happier healthier lives through chiropractic care and wellness!

Chiropractic discovered me as an undergraduate student looking to find a profession that was truly going to be a passion. I have always loved people and knew that I wanted to do something that made the world and the people around me better so the medical profession was always in my sights. After multiple shadowing experiences the right fit wasn’t immediately obvious. When I was introduced to chiropractic care it completely blew me away. It was so different than any other profession I had shadowed. What really set it apart was both the doctors and the patients were always happy. Patients looked forward to going and every chiropractor seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. Seeing the results and just how far reaching chiropractic care can be, is how I really knew this is what I wanted to do with my life.

I graduated from Life University with my Doctorate of Chiropractic in March, 2021. I grew more and more passionate about serving families and watching them thrive which led me to becoming an expert in pediatric and prenatal care. I am a new mother and enjoy spending time with my family both in and out of the office, as well as weight training and running with our dog Kuzco. I am determined to give an incredible clinical experience by always looking to find the root cause of what’s going on with my patients. I believe that no matter the circumstance every person has the ability to heal and there is nothing more precious than a completely healthy family that is thriving.
